That's what I need to do -- come up with a couple of recurring things that don't involve me trying to be clever. It's a good idea, Lucie!
I'm with you, Naomi. Blogging is one of the hardest things I've ever done. If not for my "Daily thanksgiving" and new "Photo Friday" (photo contest between hubby and me), my blog would look very sad, indeed. You've encouraged me to get something posted today--or perhaps tomorrow. :)

Mostly C's....let me remind you I am in military housing and I have home gardening books, recipes coming out my ears as well as canning jars and such that are dustier than they are anything else. I guess I think my yearly attempt at potted tomatoes will yield so much that I will get to use those jars...meanwhile in another country I mean state far far away sits a home with a loverly garden space, ginormous rain water saver and a kitchen to spread the love in...sniff sniff....some day I will have solar power and wind turbines too.... ;)

Here's my problem, Naomi. I know how to do all the stuff listed in the B's and C's, but I'm horrifically lazy. I have a feeling homesteading would cure me right quick. See, I even know to say, "Right quick."

And I can knit new sweaters from old sweaters. Eventually.

This quiz is hiLARious. After wiping huge tears of laughter from my eyes I had to reread each question in an attempt to answer it before laughing and having to start yet again. BUT after my third attempt I was successful and I am proud to say, "I'll make it." Which is good since I have been on this journey for 40+ years now. Your questions and choice of answers hit the nail on the head of reality and homesteading. My favorite, laughing to the point of tears question is the one about the tomato bonanza--LOLLOLLOL--okay, I'm back, which was the bomb. When faced with such a blessing of produce I start with such zeal and put up lots and lots of preserved surplus, share with my grateful extended family and neighbors and then (with some guilt and impatience at their inability to decompose faster) let the rest set and set and set until finally they are only fit for the chickens or the compose pile;
where the chickens will get them anyway. Great quiz. Great insight. In truth, but for the grace of God, we can all be spoiled brats, more selfish that a two year old (I have a granddaughter there now), but through His love for us and our love for Him He works miracles in our lives every moment of every day. Thank you soooo very much for sharing your heart with your readers. You have no idea how many lives you touch with these truths. God bless you and your family. I will keep you in my prayers.

Thanks Naomi, I will do that. I am a leader of a book club so a book in print is the best way to for us ladies, young and old! I read all the book to recommend to the group so it would be hard to do that without the book in print.
Thanks!
