This quiz is hiLARious. After wiping huge tears of laughter from my eyes I had to reread each question in an attempt to answer it before laughing and having to start yet again. BUT after my third attempt I was successful and I am proud to say, "I'll make it." Which is good since I have been on this journey for 40+ years now. Your questions and choice of answers hit the nail on the head of reality and homesteading. My favorite, laughing to the point of tears question is the one about the tomato bonanza--LOLLOLLOL--okay, I'm back, which was the bomb. When faced with such a blessing of produce I start with such zeal and put up lots and lots of preserved surplus, share with my grateful extended family and neighbors and then (with some guilt and impatience at their inability to decompose faster) let the rest set and set and set until finally they are only fit for the chickens or the compose pile;
where the chickens will get them anyway. Great quiz. Great insight. In truth, but for the grace of God, we can all be spoiled brats, more selfish that a two year old (I have a granddaughter there now), but through His love for us and our love for Him He works miracles in our lives every moment of every day. Thank you soooo very much for sharing your heart with your readers. You have no idea how many lives you touch with these truths. God bless you and your family. I will keep you in my prayers.

Thanks Naomi, I will do that. I am a leader of a book club so a book in print is the best way to for us ladies, young and old! I read all the book to recommend to the group so it would be hard to do that without the book in print.
Thanks!

okay, it is 4 in the morning, I stayed up way too late finishing your book, and now I'm laughing so hard at this quiz that I'm going to wake my entire family.

For the record, I'm in one of the "gonna make it" categories. Not sure which one. I had a hard time narrowing down my answers on most of them... dumping my catty friends years ago at least kept me from choosing those answers...

I have to go to bed.

At the end they are going to try again I like that. I do agree Seth was a jerk at times. He became what Jem was to start with the spoiled brat. I guess some of it was from the hardships but the way he treated Jem when he accused her of wanting to go with her father when he should have seen she picked him when all Jem did was let Charlie look at him. Maybe he really wasn't expecting Jem to turn into the strong women she became. (I really liked her after she realised the friendship she and Susan should have had).
In a sequal I would love to see her have another child. What I really want to know is what happened to Sally how did she end up with the neighbour and why wasn't she mentioned as to why she was there? I enjoyed the book and it would have kept me up if it wasn't on the laptop (and the fact an Aussie book kept me up way to late the night before).
